The "shit graphics" are part of the optimization process for the Quest 2. I'm not denying that Rec Room could do better on optimization of the game. But, the Quest 2 is a mobile processor running VR, so there are a lot of things done to try and make it so the game can even run on it in the first place. Like reducing resolution on textures and decreasing the level of detail on shapes.

Tbh I think they should add graphics quality options to consoles. So people can increase specific areas of graphics that they prefer (ie. Shadows resolution ect.)

its a miracle quest 2 even runs vr

let alone slightly more demanding games like rec room at 144p+
