1 Get your maker pen and open it's menu

2 Go to pallete and search "Text" select it and trigger the maker pen to spawn it

3 Go to pallete and search "Button" and spawn it (2)

4 Open your makerpen menu and select tools tab and select "Connect" tool

5 Hover on the "Pressed" port in Button circuit board and hold the maker pen trigger

6 keep holding it and hover on "Set text port" in text and release the maker pen trigger

7 hover and click on the purple port "Text" and type value "Hi" and click done
