Any inventions or specific ones with certain things in them? Say like ones with circuits won't spawn, but basic shapes will.
I haven't tried myself, so I have no idea. However, a couple weeks ago they had an issue where some people could not spawn some inventions and it didn't matter what it was. I couldn't spawn my own inventions in one room, but someone else by going through my portfolio could spawn it. Maybe that bug came back.

If after restarting the game it still isn't working, I would recommend opening a request on Zendesk so they can look into it.
