The chip requires the name (string) and value (any) of the variable and for safety there should be an error if you put different value type than the value has or if the variable doesn't exist

It could be very useful to make for example a shop "function" that sets the currency and item to the correct values just with one event sender chip and inputs

The inputted value (any) is if course the new value that you want to change with the old one

But why do you need this? Why not just clone the variable when you want to set it to something different

And this wouldn’t allow you to set the variable inside an object board, which is the only use I could think of
