before u complain about kids theres a block and mute button
and the weekly is cus recroom is fixing bugs and adding more features for us
Ok im just saying as an idea
if u really have a prob w rr switch to vrchat theres no kids on there
Ya there is kids
barely
Im not complaining it was an idea
get better ideas
The main problems. I think weeklys just came back (we'll have to test it out this Wednesday.) If you didn't get the mask, then oof I guess? Also, they wiped out all juniors from quest a while ago so for the ones playing on major accounts or different devices to stay alive yes you will have to block and report them like everyone else. No matter the account holder, they'll be banned, if not, grounded... like a kid.
real
16 or older??? bruh why do i feel like you are underaged, yet complaining about underaged people in rec room, also i've played vrchat many times before and from my experience, seeing kids is not rare, there is not barely any kids, now that vrchat nonsense out of the way, rec room is advertised as a kids game, of course it's gonna appeal to kids- make a game with a kids game like style and watch how many kids go to play it because of it's style so there's one reason, and yeah like huntsman said, meta is responsible for wiping out all junior accounts that were using quest headsets due to their 13+ thing and no, it was not in rec room's control, either attempt to report underaged users if they actually are underaged and don't just sound underaged (i say attempt because moderation fails)
now for the weekly thing, first of all, rec room only just released a new weekly (i believe it will be once a month now tho i'm not 100% sure) and they're still trying to rework the weeklies because guess what, it hasn't gotten a change in it since it was first added (unless there's something i'm too new to know about) so they want to update the weeklies, this current one weekly a month thing is temporary.
i got lost in brain farts, femur breaker screams, and day dreams so i had a bit of trouble making this
tbh if i had time i would do the same
but im not wasting time on someone whos name is bunny and has a anime pfp
There may be more weeklies eventually and if you have a problem with 13-16 year olds being online, talk to your congressman. Let them know that you are concerned about children's safety and they should amend the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Or, just realize that you find people younger than you annoying and need to use the mute/block feature more often. Why start at 16, let's make a 21+ Rec Room.
rec room's a game for all ages- kids included, and of course some kids would either lie about their age or their parents would be the ones doing the lying so of course there would be kids in rec room
- the things you can do in rec room
- the art style- OH the art style
and it looks fun and makes it easy to make whatever you want and play whatever you want so of course kids will like this idea and considering the other 2 it's not surprising there's a bunch of kids in rec room, a game for all ages, also the state the weekly is in is only temporary but will stay a while until they're done with the new version of the weekly challenge since it hasn't gotten a single change either in a very long time or at all, and our most recent weekly isn't even a skin, it's a clothing item, and they won't do repeat weeklies, idk about rereleasing them into limited time shops tho
16 or older?
Are you crazy?
There nothing that can be done about the kids playing RecRoom
If they’re gonna sign up to play they’re gonna do it using parents emails or parent or guardian permission
Or just download the game
Like think of it like this
A rated R or M movie never stopped kids from watching it
And your first question makes no sense
also judging by their emotions coming from their messages i doubt they're even 13 or 14 yet
