Limit how much you can spend in a month, or only buy stuff you will use.

It's not entirely your fault, it's Rec Room being money-grabby. If you want to save your tokens, have people gift you stuff (chances are you'll need to do something for them), you can also use your alt account as a way of making double the money (I'd prefer using RR+ if possible), you can also limit your spending onto limited items and limited items only until the last minute where it's about to leave stores. Everything else you want will either stay in stores, or will be gifted to you in game packages (you never know.)

You're welcome.

That is funny. You are saying, because Rec Room makes things that costs tokens, it is Rec Room's fault that one is spending the tokens?

The only one at fault are the individuals that have no self control and discipline. It is the same thing in real life. Just because you were paid $13,000 dollars for example, does not mean you must buy everything you see. There is a reason so many people live pay check to pay check trying to make ends meet, deciding if they get more dog food or pay the electric bill, while watching Tik-Tok on their $1300 iPhone. Guess it is Apple's fault that people can't afford to pay their electric bill....

Yes, Rec Room takes advantage of that "Fear of Missing Out" nature in people as pretty much every commercial industry does. They want to make you feel like you have to have the item now so that you want to spend tokens. But, that is where the self control comes in. Consider the value and effect of what you spend your money on and weight the consequences. Do I save the tokens for now and see if they finally release that really cool item in the future, or do I go without tokens for now and just accept the consequences that I can't buy what come out next week.
