how do I unlink a account

Tried doing it but refused and I'm very confused on how to do it

What you do is click on your profile, click on edit, go to account settings, then scroll down to unlink account, once you unlink it you switch accounts and then it should be gone

That's the thing tho me and my friend shared a account and now we both are linked together but we both unlinked from that account and now we don't know what to do

So I have a friend, called 198v and I got banned recently from him, and I've been wondering how is he still linked on my account when his account is not on any devices I own, I asked him he said we cannot get unlinked from a reason he doesn't know, so now I'm stuck here wondering what to do.
