its an archived 2019 dev debug build when they were testing the new lighting system, a lot of the jibbled plants stuff other than basic enums seems to be removed completely unfortunately

That's quite interesting. Considering there would've been a set to go with it, maybe a set that later got released was the set you were meant to get with the mode? Horseshoes had the Equestrian Set, Baseball had the Baseball Set, and Boxing had the Boxing Set, so maybe it's not farfetched that the set meant for this quest got added later?

Not sure if that's a good theory to follow but it's plausible.
