Efficient circuits

Give your circuits 24 hour energy

#

Theyโ€™ll run really fast

Play on a good device

Aka not an oculus quest

The solution is to just make good circuits

#

And network your things properly

Don't make rooms with 20+ players pls

#

And yeah optimize all circuits, cpu,net

Not circuits but just room

#

Like your fps can get to 10-15 even on console

A while ago, I found out that if you move your Circuitry away from the map after it is complete the lag becomes less, and that lag is more likely to occur for those with the Maker Pen permission.

Making a system that teleports you to the Circuitry can help you get to them faster, and move them away more

I might be wrong but I think thatโ€™s just for people with makerpen

young lantern
#

maybe

#

in some cases i think

fresh stone
#

As I donโ€™t think circuits actually have to render for normal ppl

young lantern
#

i think it needs to so cv2 work

#

idk

fresh stone
#

It shouldnโ€™t need to, it should just remember the โ€œcodeโ€ the circuits create and not have to load in all the circuits but this is rec room

prob

#

or rr didnt fix the issue RRtroll

#

performance issue*

I think it has the code but does not render the actual models until privilege is given.

If you want, but then that would be really, really unorganised.

Do it on a "coding block" and move it all at the end.

#

But I believe Fest is correct about it only working for those with Maker Pen.

But how much distance

#

As much as you need.

#

The more compact and more Circuits, the further.

cv2 far , more fps

You all respond to this post by saying "network your things properly" for example, could you explain further

It does work

#

Also making circuit boards helps.

Also make sure to enable Efficient Mode on the circuits you are making

This is actually a good question

Some tips are to only use one 30hz receiver and use custom events when 30hz is needed again

Also, almost always run the circuit on the authority whether that be on the object authority or the room authority unless you know what you're doing.

And especially don't change synced variables on synced events

every 30hz receiver takes up 0.2% no matter what. if you use many they add up. you can use custom events to have the same effect just without the extra 0.2% heat

Network or CPU?

cpu

It doesent seem to be working, same CPU as before

nvm, i stand corrected. i thought it wouldnt change cpu.
