I cant hear anything in rec room

Find this menu in sound settings. Make sure Rec Room is set to "default" for both.

Windows should just detect Rec Room as being there. Otherwise I have no clue why it wouldn't show up.

I suggest you look it up on the internet as to why an application isn't showing up in volume settings on Windows.

Maybe a Rec Room issue, but could be a OS level issue.

Rec Room doesn't do anything differently than other Unity games.

hey i found rec room in the mixer, it is at 100% but still no audio

Make sure it is set as default per the 1st image

or whatever you're using for audio

also make sure you didn't mute the audio in-game

and finally make sure you didn't outright disable Rec Room's sounds only

Do you have any other apps installed like a voice changer or soundboard

You could also go to your in game audio like the music and voice audio that is in game

Did you try the headphone thing?

There should be a headphone icon on the bottom right.

Click that, then there should be a little option to select what you hear from.

If that doesn’t work, I tried.

Sound pad and voice mod

I had a similar issue when using a voice mod. Windows screwed up the audio and mic in and out for RecRoom and couldn’t be reverted

If you can’t figure it out you might have to revert windows to a previous system save point to before you installed the voice mod

Unfortunately that’s what I had to do

You can try disabling the voice mod, and resetting the audio defaults in the windows system settings

I went to a older version of windows before the voice mod installation, it fixed my issue but now I can’t update windows to any version higher then the one I set it to
