What would be the point of a week long free trial that would quickly get abused by every free account maker out there. One week would be 1500 tokens, a catch up on seasonal items, chance to publish shirts that gets one banned and a chance to publish inventions/room keys that you won't get to collect, which I guess would be a good incentive to make you pay for it. Regardless, $8 is cheaper than a dozen of eggs right now. You are already playing the game for FREE the least you could do is give a little back to the game for the added features.

I mean I think it could work if it were implemented correctly and people would probably wanna get it more I'd they had a taste of it for free, could be as simple as the first time you ug RR+ you get an extra week to rhe duration u have it, 5 weeks instead of 4 for the same price

Free trials are mainly for bringing in new consumers to get a test drive of a membership for a specific thing, including subscriptions as mandatory as streams like Netflix or as optional as RR+ where you can still play the game, and not need it unless for creation purposes. I'm gonna give you a news flash and say this is a dumb idea. With RR+'s features in relation to Rec Room's money-grabbing agenda (tokens included), it's a good deal, but not as a free trial. Even if they made it possible, a monthly subscription like RR+ it would be useless because within that week, it would be doing absolutely nothing.

What if you could get some of the features of rr+ with a trial but not all of them? More outfit slots, instead of a 4 star maybe a 2 or 3 star box, you could sell your inventions but to get the earnings you'd have to get the full rr+
That'd help get some new members, my friend got RR+ once just to get an RR+ item and can't live without it now so I'm sure even just with limited features RR+ you could bring people in like that

But what about when the trial runs out. What’s rec room gonna do delete most the outfits you have saved??? What about selling inventions, you gonna go one week then your invention just becomes free.

You can literally say the same thing for when you cancel your rr+, it's literally just the same as cancelling rr+, you don't lose anything you just have to pay to keep it

Your inventions wouldn't become free you just wouldn't be able to get the earnings from them without RR+, it'd just be the same as when your rr+ is cancelled

But that's what makes up the entirety of RR+. Minus the RR+ exclusive clothing you get every full moon, it's the tokens and gifting it gives you every month, which is why I say it would do absolutely nothing if it's only going to be for a week like every other free trial. Just buy it.
