Pros:
the gameplay is actually fun
It’s actually really good at teaching you the basics
I love the whole “train your skill” system
The socializing part is fun (when there is people at spawn)
The quest system pretty fun
Cons:
The whole membership system
The bots
Free lobbies
Some quests are really hard :(

And yeah the bots are insane, fun fact majority of those bots you see are made within 72 hours of you seeing them, Jagex does an amazing job actually detecting and nuking bots, but in that same breathe bot makers have gotten better too, literally making scripts where they blast level up in a day to be sent to a members world to farm Gp lol

And yeah Jagex as a whole wouldn’t survive if the game was free with mandatory micro transactions we see how RS3 is so we take the good with the bad, plus once you level up enough you can buy bonds with Gp and practically get free membership, also the quests only get harder lol

I will say RS3 isn't all bad, apparently the Quests a bit better/graphics wise it looks amazing, and the game is apparently decent as ironman (Aka no mircotransactions) but like OSRS is a game built by the community, for the community, paid for by the community, its what other companies should aspire to do, they also take accountability where it matters, literally working on setting things right asap instead of waiting 6 months to finally make a move

I meet lots of adults in other games, especially more social games with strong communities. RR is something of an anomaly. It's nice to have though. Sort of like how 4chan contains a lot of unsavory types from infesting other websites

Kids mostly congregate to the biggest titles or those that aggressively advertise to them. Most less popular games are much better places. Join a random community there and almost everyone has kids or is at least married unless the game leans "hardcore".

The thing with the Rec Center loading times is that it has more to do with Rec Room Studio rooms (which I believe the Rec Center now is) taking longer to load bc the the room must be downloaded

So players with subpar connections kinda get screwed

Although you are right in the sense that Rec Room isn't getting any easier to run and Rec Room Studio rooms nearly all run considerably worse than their non-Studio counterparts

Maybe its a little late to complain about this, but the new social orientation is just not great.
I like that the game throws you into instances with players off the bat. Social interaction is what makes this game fun, so it makes sense to me that you'd want to see other players. They've also trimmed up some of the experience... but i still think there's just way too many loading screens. Compare this with the new user journey on Gorilla Tag - you get a unique obstacle course that simply shows you how to play, then boom, you drop into a full instance of players. No loading screens.

Some of the user journey in the rooms feel awkward. None of the areas that they kept have been trimmed, so you get areas like this which used to have holotars exercising, now its just empty. Why is this still here?

Perf also wasn't great on quest 2 due to the mirrors.

if they want to have a more streamlined user experience - awesome. that needs modeling work, though. the previous orientation wasn't designed to immediately get people to play. I also think not having markers showing that you need to open the doors to progress is a gigantic oversight - people aren't always going to assume these are openable/grabbable, i think.

Lastly, i think it's absolutely ridiculous to recommend UGC games over RROS. The RROs are battle-tested content, and theres always people playing them. Instead, heading to the final orientation door opens your watch to the regular play menu, which recommended me games like "Brainroteverysecond." Why not leverage RROs here??

The collabs are technically impressive rooms, but these also feel like they exist in a vacuum of "we need to make tmnt/destiny folks happy and sell lots of items" instead of "we need to come out with a retentive game because we are awesome builders." You can't make the latter if your room is gonna disappear forever after a while...

RC updates similarly follow this philosophy of "we need to dress our storefront up with something" even though i do think the transformations are very cute.
The gamejam-tier minigames are cool and I kinda love them but I don't think they will flip community sentiment around. They're not the "next big thing" where the "next big thing" this year seems to be maker ai

If the focus still needs to include selling things or tutorial content, then I don't really understand why a new quest isn't being developed. I feel like a new quest announcement would literally flip community sentiment upright again - it would release new tools for creators, and those new tools might need tutorials! And people would want to engage with the tutorials, because everyone loves the quests, and would probably want to make their own.

Instead the recent announcements feel like a comedy of errors surrounding maker AI and it has just been stinking up the entire news cycle of RR. Even things that are sorta cool like bodypaint get overshadowed by the continued focus on this feature. Maker AI is literally sabotaging this big push for Rooms 2 AND the contest at the same time, because of the camera bug. It's just hard to be excited atm.

Pretty much they just follow you around, it shows peoples grinds usually, most tend to be a like 1/5000 drop, while some pets can be as easy as like 1/1500 (The easiest is a 1/300 drop)
Skilling pets are the most random since people can get spooned aka get them at super low levels while I've seen others at 40m XP still dry on a pet lol, I got spooned my baby Mole pet at 20 kc (Kill count)

pretty much a house tellport tab is something you can make that just instantly teleports you to your house, its super cheap to make, its just its a dick move since the guy has teleports you just can't use tehm in the house, and nothing stops users from just logging out, its just you gotta log back in, and in the House party world, its usually at max capacity at peak times, so once you log out, it might take a minute or so to log back in, combine this with the main use of people utilizing others player owned homes is to level up quickly by offering bones at the alter/teleporting to a place thats expensive to TP too/needs a different spell book/making teleport tabs/changing spellbooks/etc, its mostlyjust annoying lol, including if you didn't know you could just click the leave house button in settings
