#I would like to know why my Quest 2 plays at less than 10 fps ANYWHERE, and 30+ minutes to log in

Probably an issue with your quest 2
Battery might not be able to give enough power to the processor
Or you have the fan exhaust blocked so the processor starts thermal throttling
Fully restarting the headset might work if you haven’t already
If this doesn’t happen in any other games, then idk
Because I’m on quest 2 and I sure don’t have this issue
Already have and Quest support doesn’t know what is up with the headset itself so they’re saying it’s the game (it ONLY happens with Rec Room)
And I have factory reset several times already so it ain’t that kinda issue
You should install the ovmetrics tool and see what your framerate actually is… if it works on standalone, not sure

You haven’t messed with scaling the resolution or any other display settings right?
Correction at 5:50 - The App value represents only the time taken by the GPU to render the frame, not the total frame time (which is CPU + GPU time). So you can have an app value of 7ms, but that doesn't guarantee that the app is performing well, because it doesn't include CPU time!
In this video tutorial, I show you how to easily measure t...
- Because rec room is very poorly optimized
- Quest 2 isn't very good to begin with
Correct I have not as I cannot
You can via sidequest, but ig I have no idea what’s causing it
my ques2 still 30to60 fps, slight lag, 1 min load(but after metax(oculus turned to meta)os boot itself 5 min:wtf:)
Stop that. It’s just the game man
If it was then everyone would have this issue
Well no not perse
It’s bugged and it’s inconsistent
Afaik everyone gets the same build of recroom per platform, the inconsistency is in the headset
No. Its the nature of how the game works. My games run alright, but in public rooms the framerate can drop significantly
