If you need a cv1 door then you need to use a converter.
You can use something like roles to do this,
However I'm pretty sure there's a new chip which sends you to a room but I think it's in beta, have a play arpund
Yes the New chip is in beta, better activate it and dont struggle with a converter
Cool, thanks for the quick responses!
Ok so I’ve got the room door Cv2 but the “Door used” and “Player” and both outputs and refuse to be put into the interaction volume. I’m probably just dumb though.
Just use the Go to room chip, it doesn’t use ink
Or send to room, I forgot the name exactly
You’ll also need to use a room constant chip just to get the room you want to send to
Oh yes I see. Thanks! (It is called the go to room)
For the player value, just have it to Local Player
That’s the CV2 equivalent of saying “Me”
Yup looks good
Make sure you configure the destination room to get the room you want
Right, thanks for the help!
Wait quick question. Is there any way to plug an animation gizmo into a interaction volume?
No easy way, as V1 and V2 need to be converted to one another.
@hardy lake by chance do you know a good way to do it? I only know of the piston way.
Ah, ok. Thanks.
If you add a role in CV2 you can detect it in cv1 with "role changed" and "has role"
Note these are both role mappers
Note 2 you need to have the role chip to make it work
alr
thanks m8
Lmao Jan 2023
