Yes chances are the only reason ppl are getting banned for it is becuse of the voice moderation system its simply not desined to filter out perticular things in context as it runs pasively across all rooms made after a cirtan date so its not the best becuse it simply cant look into context

That is a valid reason, but when I submit a ban appeal they decline it and state that I was banned for breaking the code of conduct. Once, I got three different reasons as to why I was banned. It’s so annoying.

Also, you can tell if it’s an automated ban or not.

in fact that's what I did and I ended up getting a large discussion about lgbtq+ items locked and closed (because I kept arguing that we shouldn't have more items like that)

The only way not to get punished in that situation is to not talk at all

Because people are so full of themselves that they simply aren't willing to accept others for what they believe but instead they attempt to censor and silence them

But then they expect us to accept them for who they are even though it disagrees with our beliefs. This is the definition of double standards and hypocrisy.

The way I see it, both sides of that argument will never agree. Also, that statement is a paradox. You can't have an inclusive environment but exclude a lot of religions

Both sides definitely raise great points, but at the end of the day, we are all questioning how far we can push the boundaries of what we can say. Bias and background are unavoidable in this situation. The way I see it, there won’t be compromise.

We allow both LGBTQ+ and religious people to play the game/join the server. We don’t discriminate towards others just because they are part of a certain group. I’ll quote a support member

“This includes language like "Being gay is a sin". Maybe it's what they believe in, but saying that in Rec Room is against our Code of Conduct.”

We don’t allow discrimination/homophobia. You are allowed to have your beliefs/opinion. If it breaks the server rules/the Code of Conduct, maybe keep it to yourself 🙂
