That would not work here. The reason it supposedly "works" in the movies is because the adults (who are more likely to commit crimes than the younger people) can do a whole lot more and understand there are legal repercussions if they continue to do illegal stuff after the purge. This game is primarily teens and children, they would without a doubt become addicted to being able to do whatever they want and completely let go of all kindness and continue the behaviour after the purge is over.

My point is that in the movies there was some amount of time where crime rates or whatever did go down and people did do less crime outside of the purge day, and i’m saying that something like that would never work here. There wouldn’t even be a single successful year, everyone would become addicted to not following the rules anymore
