this is getting infuriating, alot of the time when i try to play this game this happens, and it isn't my pc's fault either, sometimes when i open and close the steamvr menu a couple times it gets fixed
other times it doesn't
this makes the game completely unplayable

Gotcha. It’s pretty bad on the Rift as well, but Steams definitely worse

Try playing the Oculus version through Oculus instead of Steam and see if that helps.

That may be an issue with Quest Steam VR though
I know there is a huge different between RR lag and SteamVR lag
You'll know when your controllers track at like, 60hz whilst RR is at like, 10hz
