I’ve heard people thinking “how would you eat the noodles? Would the noodles be in chunks or you would just drink it? Chunks?!?! Ah hell naw.” and I might have a solution. Now we know that ramen in general is meant to be eaten by using chopsticks and I thought of a way for it to be easy for the devs to make. So you would make the chopsticks into one model and make an animation of the chopsticks closing and opening with the trigger on your oculus controller. And when you would close the chopsticks on a, well, noodle or group of noodles and the chopstick’s mechanic would be like a hand. It would (in the example I’m trying to describe) hood the noodles. And when you put the noodles that are being “held” by the chopsticks to your mouth, the noodles will disappear and you would hear a eating sound. I would think you would have 10 groups of noodles that is in the ramen cup. Lastly, for a satisfying effect have a little bit of steam coming off of the top of the ramen cup.

i think hard boiled eggs would also be a good idea, but here's 3 things about it

if hard boiled eggs stink than they should emit green steam particles as if it were emitting a bad smell
one of the eggs is not a hard boiled egg and upon eating it, it would make a crack sound and can be eaten but would change your face to a disgusted expression
if you get a normal egg than you can throw it at people and it would (temporarily) stick to the person that got hit, this applies to objects as well
you can tell which is hard boiled based on which one is emitting the green steam particles, if it isn't than it's just a regular egg

Heres what I said that might answer your question: I’ve heard people thinking “how would you eat the noodles? Would the noodles be in chunks or you would just drink it? Chunks?!?! Ah hell naw.” and I might have a solution. Now we know that ramen in general is meant to be eaten by using chopsticks and I thought of a way for it to be easy for the devs to make. So you would make the chopsticks into one model and make an animation of the chopsticks closing and opening with the trigger on your oculus controller. And when you would close the chopsticks on a, well, noodle or group of noodles and the chopstick’s mechanic would be like a hand. It would (in the example I’m trying to describe) hood the noodles. And when you put the noodles that are being “held” by the chopsticks to your mouth, the noodles will disappear and you would hear a eating sound. I would think you would have 10 groups of noodles that is in the ramen cup. Lastly, for a satisfying effect have a little bit of steam coming off of the top of the ramen cup.

Jeez guys we just got 2 brand new food items, being the VR cola and the Dessert pizza, I think we’re being a bit hasty with this.

I get that they are just root beer and pizza copies with different designs but it’s still 2 new additions to the food menu, which is a W in my book.

Plus early levels in make it to midnight go fast so you could get a good amount in just a few games.

I’m not opposed to some new consumables, especially when compared to a new RRO, consumables take far less time and effort on RR’s side. Thus, it is very easy to add and can’t really go wrong, but given everything else that’s going on, I sincerely doubt that it’s the first thing on their list of priorities.
