Ever since this new UI update came out it's been Non-Stop crashing and constant lag when you're looking at your friends list and the game makes you go back to your dorm or menu screen randomly, we need maintenance

Better: CV2, custom shirts, higher quality customization pieces, new features added more often, better maker pen (once you get used to it)
Worse: Greedier prices, more children, more bugs, shitty costume rooms, new player name and icons, all cheers aren't displayed on profile anymore, new watch doesn't catch the 80's vibe the game wishes it still had.
Some things got better and some things got a whole lot worse, I guess it's really up to personal preference

First things first the new watch ui absolutely sucks everyone knows that. Bugs have been skyrocketing ever since the new update. Prices have only gone up and the only fast way to get tokens is to buy them (rr+ is not worth it)

And even when you somehow get tokens it’s like 50

New stuff is cool and all but limiteds fly out left and right things are wayyyy too pricey plus everything they are doing is making this VR game with screen mode compatibility feel like a screen game with vr compatibility with how everything is becoming 2D and losing all personality

i think rec room has improved with its creative tools a ton but i think the game in general just keeps getting buggier and buggier with every update. i still love this game but goddamn

Its improved though, not fast enough. I think there’s internal issues that being lack of communication, lack of employees or Rec Rooms internal software is so bad that is takes much longer & leaves bugs.
Besides development they’re marketing it to kids & it started off as being for teens/adults.

worse, whole thing’s pretty much about spending all your mum’s benefits money on reskins or event items which they will stop using after a day, plus when there aren’t any reskins it’s just mass producing cosmetics that are expensive as possible

With the things they choose to focus on now like creators starting their business, and better international communication, it's safe to say they're getting worse. They're ok, but it's like they're doing nothing but helping us make tokens (and real-life money if you're popular enough as if it were Tik Tok.)

RR Studio is based off a professional game engine (unity), it doesn’t seem logical for them to limit everyone therefore people without professional tools can stay on top.
