#Can someone help record CV2 sampler audio in RecRoom?
30 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Already posted their, but recording CV1 and CV2 sampler audio is the same.
What no they aren’t?
CV1 samplers can only record 30 seconds while CV2 audio samples are on chips that go into a player and can record up to 300 seconds of audio
But the way you record them and their usage are the same, its just the limitations.
It’s to keep things organized
But honestly for something like this I think running it through a low quality mic like on a quest 1/2 could give it a vibe
I would prefer the room to be a decent quality.
I've decided to use CV2 samplers instead of CV1. I'm active 6-10 PM Eastern Time Zone. I will send a message when online to keep the post active since I still need help. DM on discord if you are interested.

Just wondering, why make a cv1 horror game?
I never learned CV2 because I don't have the time, and I know CV1 very well. It works just fine, doesn't lag, and isn't very ink expensive.
I know Cv2 is actively getting updates and is much better. But CV1 covers all I need.
Yup that pretty much covers what I was typing lol
CV1 is basically just 5 chips that are resued to make different things.
Much simpler
That I do disagree with
Cv2 is much simpler and easier to understand
Cryptic creator sent this earlier these both do the same things
Takes two chips to do just one of those in cv2
For things like a horror game it would be much easier to use cv2
But if you know cv1 better then go for it
CV2 has about 200+ chips(Number estimated from the CV2 RecRoom site) which all do different things and have special inputs and outputs. CV1 has around 35 chips which only have non specfic inputs and outputs. CV2 is more complex to learn but is simpler when you understand most of the chips.
