honestly i made this thread because i bored and i want to know what people think about these rooms. i hate them, it's purely made for sub farming & Token Farming

They're not a scam since there's no coercion or activity that breaks their tos. It's morally wrong as you said but that's just what you gotta do in this newformed token economy. RecRoom can get away with a 20k necklace on the claims of "business gotta make money" and the same logic can be applied here

Costume rooms are an issue because they encourage laziness for builders. When builders see that all they have to do to earn tokens is spam inventions in rooms and pit keys on them, they won’t bother trying to create unique rooms and instead just make the same kind of room since it will earn them more tokens. This won’t apply to all creators sure, but encouraging this behavior should not be allowed, as Rec Room is doing by allowing these rooms to exist in the first place.

one thing u should also mention is the cloning maps rule, its in their own tos. creators should not clone and publish the same room but it seems like all of these are the same but with different costumes and such

I mean, costume rooms are basically "low-effort rooms" entirely (or almost) made out of one's creations. I personally think is just being 'lazy and wanting fame and popularity to get known on Rec Room and get many subs. Rec Room should ban costume rooms (not all of them) since some are made mostly with pure effort, time, and a couple of inventions. Rec Room should only delete the rooms that seem to copy each other and have the same topic, for example I see loads of games named similarly after each other for example "FunCostumeVibesHangout" or "VibesHangoutFunwithCostumes." (I made them up, don't know if they're actually real).

That is exactly what they said they would do. They said they will delete any “copies” of rooms with little to no changes nor effort put into them, but looks like they haven’t done anything at all. I’m not gonna go find the message where they said this I don’t care enough to prove they said it so you can believe me or not or just be a smart ass and try to be all logical again.
