You should try all options and see which is more comfortable and pick from there, i usually color with vr to be more accurate with my coloring and get big areas done efficiently and quickly. Details on mobile. Never done console and heard it’s super hard to do.

my first ever thing in val art before i erased it to draw something else : )

Any art peeps can you help me out I just finished a drawing and about to colour it but no matter what I do I can’t find the right shade of peach for white skin

typically what i do is i shade using the closest they can give, sometimes that pure white + tan / peach shading can still give off the impression of fair skin.

My first 3 character outlines and im trying to get better please give criticism
(2 are me the other is my friend)

I think the 3rd outline is a bit difficult to look at because of the wing, torso, and hand are sort of lining up together
It kinda depends on what angle you take the picture to outline but you can also mess with the stroke (thickness) of the tube to help the viewers to see what's in front and what's behind

Same goes when it comes to detailing the clothing, when there's too much lines, it's best to make the stroke smaller

one other thing tho is that you could use the ‘connect nearby tubes’ setting to make it look a little more clean and less piece-y

About 5 months ago I added a layers feature where I manual switch colors and it re orients the next colored layer. in the pumpkin you can see the green layer had a bit of shifting but PooksBot is still a work in progress.

Maybe its a you problem not the artist’s problem. And also its rlly annoying to make the outline clean as shown in the photo. U need to erase all the pre sketches manually by the small eraser and re draw it over giving different thickness to the lines, and we all know rr marker lines dont change according to pressure

When we draw we try to show the person in the drawing, like eden da “apple” is holding an apple, and mine has “crystals” in the background. Artists make the art “original”. Oh and also shade does a little building around the art as well
