This is a very interesting topic and I am super glad you brought it up! Ai is a very interesting tool and I am glad RecRoom is experimenting with it, i also understand how others may not be comfortable with ai. I am currently working on a brand new community art room and think that each user drawing should be able to opt in to photos been taken or opt out. I will think of a way to incorporate this to make sure that those who are concerned about ai can have
safeguards in place to help protect their work. Have an awesome day everyone!

AI has benefits. But AI art/images have not been kind to artists especially in the begining which is why alot of artists do not like it. I suggest checking out why people dont.

As for Art Rooms, you can take inspo from ValArtAcademy or DrawArtStudios.

Artists like different things from each of thosr places. Claim systems will be one of the main things needed.

I agree whilst ai is still evolving there is a massive grey area in rules and regulations on how ai should treat people’s information and intellectual property and the ownership of its outputs.

I will have to think of a method to allow individuals to capture images of their work but not others, I have a claim system which I am super excited about and a collaboration system which I have just finished so am excited to try it out this weekend. Will have to check those rooms out but want to make an original experience so stay tuned 😁, hope you have an awesome day!

I think it depends on the drawing style that every person has, if they dont need a specific color like as a background, they would use it. Does it work with pens too? Or just with brushes?

Its kind of a bug but... Im calling it a feature

Brushes changing colors are good. The brushes changing size doesn't do anything to the actual size of the brush when drawing. So that wouldnt be needed. I can see that being helpful for markers tho (sizing down or up).

I do have a suggestion tho. Sizing up or down the actual canvas. (You could limit this so people don't make it the size of the actual room) Since scaling paintbrushes don't do anything, it might be helpful if the canvas changes sizes.

Smaller canvas means you can cover larger areas better. While the bigger canvas is better to make smaller details. (I normally just do this with Makerpen)
