Alot more goes into room creation, its building, circuits, promotions, moderating, thumbnail, models, design, story-telling, etc. Its alot more stuff going into it. RecRoom also heavily focuses on that because it gives money, promotion, and engagement.

Art is limited due to the fact it has to go into a room. The art can be a van gogh painting but if the rooms not engaging it won't do well. Plus art is something people look at and move on to the next thing. Not saying art can't do the same type of engagement but its difficult.

Art contests normally last a few weeks due to RecRooms lack of Art Supplies (its really simplified). So there is effort put into it, some reserch or art studys , then you sketch and color. Then you post it. It takes time to do those things weeks to even a month or more but its depends on the artist. There less on the list but I wouldnt undermine it either. The art contest gives 2,000 tokens and an Art contest shirt. I feel like it should go up atleast abit bc thats really not much compared to some of the art contest winners. If you happen to win all categories you get 6,000 which is abit better you could buy like an outfit. I dont think the art contest rewards should be anything as much as a build contest but maybe like 10k or 5k seems alright. Thats more of a RR thing to decide tbh.

But what I do know is that I used the eraser marker to make lines thinner, since it usually makes the lineart look cleaner
