e.g., they might have 1 tree mesh in Unity asset browser but they might have pasted/placed them in the scene. That's a lot of work. They may want to export that into blender.

The FBX Exporter works for standard meshes

With textures and all that when imported to Blender. But somehow the maker pen objects are not exactly standard or something, textures doesn't get exported with them.

Also you were unable to export Studio Inventions (at least the Coach ones, I haven't tried with mine)

I think the protobuff stuff is raw data that is hard to read. What you want to look for is the Scene.glb file, it contains the Make pen shapes models and textures. Look for the export tool How To on You Tube, on RR's channel, it shows what you need to know.

YOu can also proceed in a similar fashion with Unity but you will need to find and install a GLB importer plugin

It's really not that simple. No matter what, they would still have staff to pay for moderation, to maintain the servers, fix bugs, update stuff that need updating because new Windows or new Meta OS version might break stuff or add additional requirements...

They already laid off about 58% of their staff members, and couldn't make the ends meet, and bugs were not getting fixed (we have 3 major RecRoyaleSquads bugs that are over a year old by now. They fixed 1 exploit in December that was several years old). If they fire even more staff, they won't be able to maintain the game in a working state for very long until it fully break and has to close anyways.

It’s very sad to see rec studio go down and rec room. I’ve learned so many things from rec room studio that I never thought I would learn and some hard and somewhere easy. But I’m very thankful that I had the opportunity. I’ve met some cool people with my rec room studio skills even though rec room room is an op for not accepting share screening access. I’m still happy with the people. I met somewhere good somewhere bad though. And rec room will always be in my memories and this will never go away so even though I’m mad that it’s going down.
