trick room inherently just isn't a good strategy but if you're set on using it you have to either use just 1-2 trick room max on an HO team or go all in

I generally don't like trick room ndm aside from quite specific teams but caly is fine on HO and I've also used trick room caly + trick room dawn wings on an HO build back in mirai meta that performed well

It is the first comp team I ever built, and I need advice on a few things:

  1. Better type-coverage. I get swept by Fire, Grass and Ground types.
  2. How to setup my Ting-Lu wall properly? Am I running too many gimmicks with Ting-Lu AND Corviknight?
  3. Should I remove Corviknight and go in the direction of Flutter Mane as a Trick Room-setter? Or maybe pivot into Gliscor and something else and go completely into entry-hazards?
  4. Maybe I'm just playing terribly? Maybe my team is *okay* but my skills aren't?

The only non-unviable Pokémon here are Tyranitar and I reckon Lugia but they don’t want to run these sets either, Ubers metagame has a much higher power level especially this Gen onwards with the introduction of Arceus

Also as you do it, one important thing to note is that we have Ubers and Farceus Ubers as two different things in DPP

And the difference is Farceus Ubers allows the usage of Arceus whereas Ubers does not, the rest is the same

So as you check the VR, check to see if Arceus is listed because that implies which Ubers they’re talking about

On this kinda build idt you need a sub zacian, you can probably throw on coverage for other mu’s since ideally ditto covers webs. Crunch probably best for lunala and opposing ndm since both are tough. I’d also just kinda drop etern on this. The cosmic power set is very slow moving for this meta and generally doesn’t do much. If that was the main idea it’s a bit different and would need different teammates around it, but I’d just make it a lando or smth to pivot into ditto and also give this team rocks which it really likes

Off the top of my head I'd suggest

  • Close Combat > Drain Punch on Koraidon; you don't need the recovery if you're dropping your defenses anyway
  • Whirlwind/Thunder Wave > Body Slam; I would personally lean toward the former
  • Thunder Wave > Will O Wisp; I think that leaning more heavily into paralysis as a means of slowing down fast offensive threats to where you can beat them is a solid idea
  • Stealth Rock/Thunder Wave > Calm Mind/Future Sight; I get you want to make Arceus-Fairy super offensively threatening, but you do so at the cost of your matchup against Scale Shot Koraidon. Thunder Wave is a big part of slowing it down. In a similar vein, move all of your SpA invest into HP, as you're going to need a ton of bulk to swallow +2 Tera Fire OPulse Flare Blitz in sun
