ditch flip turn on the swamp for a coverage move (ice punch / superpower), against ferro your gameplan should be to beat it down with ur team as much as possible while blanking it with ur own ferro or zapdos. against dondozo stall u shhld check the dozo with zap + ferro while using kingambit to pursuit trap their zapdos answer.

just want to use mega beedrill with fell stinger, intend on stacking hazards with chomp and heatran, wearing teams down along with volturn (corv and rotom) for them to potentially get in fell stinger range and let beedrill clean, dragapult for special pressure

Also stacking bulky Rotom corv garchomp and heatran is probably where you are losing your offense

Without changing much, you could probably fit a scarf trick onto Rotom or life orb on garchomp

On most of my heatran set I run stab steel beam over earth power

Magmastorm hits fire types and then you’re just losing steel coverage

That lets you hit mons like enam and iron Val

You can stack hazards with sr and spikes, but you’re running defog so you’ll just lose all your hazards. In my opinion drop spikes for an offensive setup move

Now I’m no expert so take my advice with a grain of salt

And having 3 physical def invested mons may be a bit overkill, Rotom could use a bit of spdef

You have 3 momentum moves, so pult might be able to swap it out for electric coverage

Hi, this is one of my rather higher effort builds for natdex ou, and I am looking for serious feedback, preferably from someone who has a good amount of experience in the tier. I will be explaining some of my thought processes behind this team and this message could be slightly long, so please keep that in mind before proceeding.

My thoughts:

Sneasler: Decent speed, not really using it as a setup sweeper but can somewhat revenge kill slower mons. Protective pads to allow it to u-turn freely without taking static/rocky helmet/iron barbs chip. Dire claw hax being somewhat consistent makes up for not being able to do the same damage as a swords dance set. Dark for psychic immunity/night slash STAB, standard stuff.

Hawlucha: Covert cloak with mold breaker. This set is actually designed to beat tera garg, as I can mold breaker toxic it and not take salt cure chip because of covert cloak, taunt is just useful in general. The atk/spe invest makes sure I always outspeed and kill unboosted iron val with a brave bird, and the bulk can make me live jolly m-lopunny fake out+return then suicide kill it with a brave bird. The covert cloak is also cool for predicting a m-lopunny lead to not get flinched by fake out and kill it Turn 1 with brave bird, roost off the damage later. Tera flying exists to get more damage on a fully phys def tusk if it's in range of dying (only if i absolutely need to, generally not looking to tera this mon)

Gholdengo: Mix defensive set with nasty plot and recover. The evs are actually from a smogon analysis page so not really much to say, I use this as a switch in to tapu lele and weaker knock offs that don't deal a lot, generally not looking to tera this to make use of the great typing but have kept flying to kill something like a not-so-healthy opposing great tusk in a pinch.

Charizard-Mega-X: A slightly different charizard set, and I will explain my reasoning here. This bulk invest allows me to live 2 max roll life orb knock offs (non tera dark) from jolly kartana even after rocks damage if I could not find an opportunity to remove them, which allows me to DD once on it and then roost off the damage, potentially putting charizard in a dangerous position. The leftover evs after the bulk invest and max speed have been put on attack. Crunch was to stop max hp/def bold skeledirge from easily living earthquakes and using the zard as setup fodder for torch song, although this weakens my matchup slightly against toxapex, heatran etc. I was ok with this trade (I setup forever on a pex without toxic or haze).

Great Tusk: Standard offensive utility tusk set, not much to say, can pop air balloon on ghold with ice spinner predict as it comes in and hit Landorus-T or even zap in a pinch if their hurricane misses. Boots let it switch in easily on hazards and spin them away. Tera steel allows me to take moonblast from iron valiant in a pinch if needed and headlong rush it if it's in range.

Rotom-W: Standard sp.def sponge invest set, except I made it tera fairy if needed to stop a second draco from pult (in an emergency only) and get a pain split or dark pulse off, the latter which I sacrificed TWave for cuz sub pult was slightly annoying.

Some things I am aware of:

-My team lacking priority moves: Considered fake out on sneasler but felt like the coverage/pivot was too useful to sack.

-Me getting outsped by booster energy speed mons: This is just something I have chose to live with and try my best to sponge the hits with the appropriate mon.

-No hazards: Couldn't find a place to fit them, and not really relying on hazard stacking to win ig, though I do have removal and 1 taunter.

the mons themselves lend ghis to HO, but the sets are def smth i wouldnt run on that archetype

i think the best thing to do is to lean fully into ho here

to that end; screens koko > washtom, suicide lando > tusk, drop one of sneas or lucha for smth like bax or dd pult, then make sneas or haw eseed

sneas should be unburden tera flying eseed sd gunk cc acro

and haw should be unburden eseed sd cc bb taunt wigh tera elec probs

slot stone edge on zamazenta, you need to be able to hit zap/molt and have a non contact move, over ice fang is prob best. on mola u dont rly need protect and can afford scald over it that makes mola much less passive. rest is solid tho

My old team has previously been rated useless, and the new team was built with the help of the Chicken Coop community, but my old team is giving me a much higher win rate in 1400+ ladder play. Better coverage, 3 sweepers that require different counter plays, Garganacl may look like he doesn't fit but if any stall team gets a good setup he has yet to fail to completely shut them down, aggressive Glimmora has usually landed me KO's on setup sweepers when they think he'll be used for setup. Just wondering if the previous advice was incorrect and my old team is the better one, or if I'm just bad at meta play

Alright there’s a few things here, but biggest thing is I recommend to look over your EVs

Definitely maximise MDiancies SpA and choose if you really need SpDef Pex or AV Glowking as your special wall. Also SpDef Pex with Rocky Helmet is kinda funky. Lastly 100% maximise Gliscors HP EVs, it synergises well with Poison Heal

Consider haze over recover on pex if you are really that afraid of setup sweepers since bb+black sludge is adequate recovery. Which mons in particular make you want a grass move.

Hatt and venu don’t work on yard sun bc u don’t have such immediate offense to justify the former and not enough sun turns for the latter. Replace hatt with a steel (can’t think of 1 rn but ghold is prob best) and venusaur with a water resist

This is a very solid 6 that doesn’t need much adjustment, main thing I wld say is to go w stone edge > ice fang on Zama and taunt > play rough on oger. Pr main purpose is to hit Tera dragon like pex, mola, dozo, which taunt tends to shut down anws

1. I recommend SD instead of knock off on hsamurott to catch setup sweepers that might try to setup on you. also scarf ghold isnt that good, if you really need speed control get scarf lele

2. recommend mystical fire over aura sphere on mlatios, just be wary of heatran but you have enough mons that check it. weavile also absolutely munches on you so switch ting-lu to alomomola. since you're worried about setup sweepers without whirlwind give it a red card

3. same thing here aura sphere -> mystical fire. you usually want tera water on urshifu for the extra damage. tera steel on torn is also excellent to stop setup sweepers such as bax and garchomp in a pinch. volcarona is also rlly nice into you considering urshifu isnt the best check into it cuz of flame body. just some things to consider

im not gonna sit here and tell you that mlatios is bad cause you're clearly intent on using it, but yeah
