I really enjoyed this, maybe my favourite map tbh, but I agree with Zekses, the missile shot costs WAY too much for what it does, maybe reduce it to 275?
This felt really easy though, but maybe that's just me speed running the map.
Also, is it just me or does AC mess the icy terrain up when it melts, it created terrain like this, which was kinda annoying, especially with no terp.
I wanted the missile to be expensive to discourage sniping all emitters with it, but 1000 was definitely too much
Did this happen after AC was on top of unmelted ice or when it was on rocky ground?
It happened on un-melted ice, then stayed like that when melted.
What's the terrain height when melted? I think I know what's causing it if its close to 10
Uh...
What's the height of the terrain in the screenshot I mean
6 and 10
In the screenshot it is 6
It happened 2 times, which was where I was using AC bombers to stop the last emitter from being a problem.
Yeah that makes sense, it's because when creeper freezes into solid it will set the terrain to current height + creeper height, so for AC it's adding a negative number to the height
Will remember to fix that next time
I should probably say that the left pit goes to height 1, and the other 6 and 7, if that helps at all.
And the left one also goes to height 7 for some reason.
That's probably because the terrain froze right after the bomber dropped AC, then froze again after it spread out more
So the ice is frozen creeper, I built heaters without building blasters and the creeper flooded my starting area and lost.
Havenβt played the map yet, but the hold objective auto completing sounds like an amazing feature:)
I gave this a whirl earlier today. Interesting mechanic, but slow and perhaps very difficult. I did not manage to complete. From the Play Log, it seems I'm not alone in that situation π
my failed attempt:
This is my run to complete the hold objective. Not sure if nullify can even be achieved before hold but could be wrong.
very nice example of a well-implemented Hold objective. π
a thousand arg per (somewhat weak) shot is a bit silly
Defenitely looking interesting, will have to give it a shot some time!
