I was wondering why there isn't some sort of log or button that allows us to re-read story dialogue. My gf bumped my hand while I was reading the story and made me press the X instead of the next part of the dialogue. I'm before Gateway in terms of mission and lost the dialogue pre-mission, aka: in the solar system.
Is there a way, outside from restarting everything, to see that dialogue again?

I don't think there's a normal way to do it at the moment outside of replaying the mission. What you could do, is save, open the editor with shift-e, then look at the conversations, then load your game when you're done.
