Colonies should track completion of maps done on other devices

Colonies only seems to know when you've completed maps on the device you're currently on, and not any others. This can make it tricky when playing across multiple devices and not being able to filter out completed maps

i think this might be an issue between windows and steam deck mainly because afaik there is no steam cloud cross compatibility between different OS's?

i'm hardly the expert, but i have several other games where i can play the same save through Windows and the Steam Deck. I can stop a game on my windows machine and then load the same save and resume on the Steam Deck (assuming its online of course)

I see the completion update across my devices fine.

If the game runs through proton (as IXE does), there is no issue, as proton presents the game with a simulated Windows filesystem.

I see levels from both devices on my steam deck. Note the levels I uploaded from my PC marked as completed as well. So there must be some way to get it to work. I don’t know enough about how steam cloud works to offer a solution though.
