after playing the level myself i thought i had gone through it decently fast ending with 14 some odd minutes. again blown away that there are sub 10 minute times

Yeah, I was talking to the creator about how I got the minute 9 time and helped him fix it. He uploaded it again not realizing that it wouldn't remove the original

yeah but including a mistake in your map is not a free pass to upload the same map twice. you should learn from your mistakes and make better maps in the future.
reuploading is not strictly a rule break but it tends to be frowned upon and there is a line you can cross by reuploading too much.
yes, some players will cheese the v1 of this level, but other players that don't know certain strategies will just end up playing the same map twice

Is it possible to delete a map you've uploaded? Could help with maps like this one, where the person could just delete the old version if it's got a glaring issue.

it is not. in rare cases asking K75 he may retract a map if its glitched or breaks rules, neither of which are the case here. once time has passed and people have submitted scores for the map, it is unlikely to be redacted.

it's possible to softlock yourself (also applies if submitting a score, then loading the auto save (which is made after the survival apex is gone, preventing you from placing it again)
Might be fixed by having a tech module add the survival apex be immediately available (prevents frame zero death warp to somewhere else, as acquiring it requires unpausing the game)

youre not supposed to be able to respawn the apex as part of cheese prevention from version 1 of this map
