any tips would be helpful, i started out getting the island immediately to my left with the emitter and tried branching to other islands but they outbuilt me faster than i could get rocks or eggs to help push. I got stalled out and gave up after 45 min of waiting for things to spawn

also saw a glitch where if i used rocks to kill any of the mortars, when they got built back they would be stacking on top of themselves in multiples of 2 or 3 in the same spot 😦

@fleet galleon ty .. yes ive been bridging with eggs in the void, my issue was that once i was in the new island i got overwhelmed with defenses and am having trouble breaking through. Im going to try a different island to main focus on since the one directly north of start position seems too difficult for me

Your first priority should be the emitter connected to your starting position; once you take that you can slowly power it up using boosts. The eternal thing with LPAC is winning is inevitable with enough boosts, emitters are the fastest to boost up. In my attempt that emitter is at 640/s, having been boosted 32 times. And I would consider that very low; I would expect a lot of players to have that emitter up near the 1000/s mark.

ya , its just some bad design with the coding unfortunatly.. maybe they can update it so things dont build over one another and make it such a slog , i really do enjoy lpac

Once a map is uploaded to Colonies it can't be patched; side note the game just crashed for me, out of curiosity what were you doing when the game crashed? Digging through my crash file and not seeing anything obvious.

im at 1.5 hours just waiting on rocks to stack up so i can break through the shields holding me back on last island

Hmm, I usually kill the sweeper without issue, but Dandelion79 appears to be killing the sweeper around the time of their crash as well.

Could also be a coincidence and some entirely different event is crashing the game.

I'm giving up this map. There's no way past this savefile, I've tried reloading it way too many times already and it's 100% consistent. And I don't want to restart the whole map a fifth time 😦

well found out a good strat to just ignore the last stronghold without fail.. just dump like all ur boost upgrades onto the dark tower and no crashes for me

i thought i it was my problem only first map that crashes on me too

@fleet galleon i notices i crash only when i open the quick guide .. maybe that helps you

Do mapmakers set out to make LPAC maps as slow, boring and grindy as possible? This map has some design choices that certainly baffles the mind - that's apart from the multiple build scripts and whatever other errors there may be.

For those getting a crash, please look in #997163489569280100 for how to get the log file and open a post there with your log file(s). Note, it must be a log file from immediately after the crash happened, before you restart the game.

I can't leave the first island. The mesh doesn't activate to allow me to bridge to another island.

Never mind. I restarted the map and it fixed the problem.

These recent lpac maps have been making think about a type of lpac that’s a combo between regular pac and lpac. You can use Erns to buy upgrades. These would be things such as: less time between rocks, rock target priority, being able to buy new helpful structures. These new structures could be things like a temporary crimson creep spawn or something to temporarily disable rebuilding units

There has been something like that I think.
You can boost your emitters etc, but you can also place your own emitters etc.
Emitters are powered by ERNs. Take out an ERN'd weapon etc and you gain more power to place another emitter etc.
I could be wrong though. It has been a while.

Why do starting emitter have 4 ern mortars and nullification threats from the beginning where it is difficult to get it? Then later when I managed to get the island and the island with the tower that darkens the place and make beacon required. But then the game crashed on me at that point.
