I know that praying with clothing that has imagery of people or animals is haram, but I wanted to ask if its haram to pray in clothing with logos like Spiders (lets say for example a Spider-Man hoodie or something) or one of those shirts with the horse logo on the chest

well by your initial logic, spider-man is well, a man, and spiders count as animals

I'd rather be safe than sorry

I think this can help answer the question

But from what I’ve read so far is that it is haram based on the fact that having imagery in the house caused angels to not visit the house. But they said that if you have prayed with imagery on your clothing, your prayer still was valid but there may be some sinning (only if you didn’t know about the ruling). But if you know it is haram then your prayer may not be counted as valid.

invalid prayer/no angels visiting != sinning. There appear to be MANY logical fallacies involved with those rulings. Someone followed the slippery slope and just kept going.
