#Is it permissable to trim hair around the privates instead of shaving?

Well, if you did want to do this the shave way, I highly recommend getting a double edged razor handle like a chrome plated Merkur in whatever handle length pleases you. Then just buy the blades. I shave OFTEN and still have yet to blow through my initial 100pk of personna blades that was $17. It also helps that I sanitize, dry, and strop my blades before each use. I've had my razor handle for 7 years. Do the math. Think about it. It's really comfortable, and doesn't clog easily like those POS cartridge things, or nip at the sensitive areas like a trimmer could. Treatcho self my brother or sister.
even around the ballsack area? i have cartridges and yeah i hate it and the ballsack area is the hardest lol
thats only the reason why I was going to buy a trimmer from china. makes trimming around the ballsack easier
Yessir, 100 percent the bag of jewels. In fact, I've had worse results with a guarded trimmer. It was graphic and unpleasant because stuff moves around a bit even if you're doing all the right things. With a GOOD quality de razor, you smoothly glide, cut, and navigate with a reasonable guarantee that you're not going to cut yourself. Do not get a slant razor. I have a merkur 34c and a 23c. I vastly prefer the 34c for sensitive operations over the long handled 23 for doing other broader areas.
I've experimented with the Mr. Fine company shavers and all manner of soaps, but I think I'm happy getting tube based creams that can be lathered without having a pricey brush or even massaged using hands and a bit of water. I like proasso green with a bit of menthol for the neck shaves. Always remember to use some kind of barbicide on your razor handle to get it clean. I have a little glass jar I dunk it in after disassembly and then I dry all my stuff on a towel. Then I reassemble. You can stop using a terry towel by swiping opposite the cutting direction.
Jazakallah Khair, I will try it out
Correction: do not get a slant for sensitive areas. They've got a more aggressive cut and usually also a larger blade gap and it's easier to cut yourself using one. Slants are good for very resilient facial hair with users that are very comfortable using DE razors.
