It only does this for some. other things such as the flare gun's alt fire, hitscan weapons or explosives work, but not the normal flare gun attack. i tried using the aerosol can and its default attack didn't work either.

@unique flower I have also seen this when using the akimbo flares. The TNT barrel that blows up the outer wall also did not respond to the flares
Normal flare gun worked on that barrel but when i used the akimbo powerup it suddenly did not respond. Maybe that barrel needs to be adjusted
