Surprised to not see this one up here (unless it is and the search just didn't work) but I really would love to see this one be remastered in the sort of way that PowerSlave: Exhumed was, taking each version and combining the best elements of each.

#

This is probably my favourite Rayman game due to its beautiful art and its downright brutal level design, but I don't really hear anybody talk about it anymore which is an absolute shame.

#

I'd at the very least love to see the original PS1 version be remastered and ported to modern platforms if the PowerSlave: Exhumed route is too much of an ask

#

Actually, I'll probably just make this a Rayman Trilogy thread instead cause I'd like to see 2 and 3 as well

Rayman Trilogy

#

Not much to be said of the other two since from my recollection they are basically the same across all platforms unlike the first game

#

Rayman and Rayman 2 at the very least would be amazing to see done though

They went from talented artists in 1999 who created games like Rayman 2 to activist written Assassins Crap and finally to AI slop games with todays Anno in 2025😂 . Crazy times

Rayman 2 is also the only Ubisoft product I've ever bought and at that time already I thought the game couldn't compete in any other way than its gorgeous art with Rareware's games at the time. Rare was just miles better than everybody else.

Yeah, Rayman has always been Ubisoft's premiere series in my eyes. I don't care much for Assassin's Creed or many of the Tom Clancy games, but every Rayman game (barring Raving Rabbids I suppose since that was like a weird party game thing) is just of such top tier quality in nearly every way. I wish Ubisoft would return to the series that put them on the map, and it seems like they might be, but at the same time I am VERY aware of what they are now so who knows how that would actually end up turning out. I doubt their ability to even remake any of these games on their own at this point.

#

I mean the Mario + Rabbids games were lots of fun at least, so maybe there's some semblance of hope left

I understand your sentiments, mine are very similar, I've never played other Ubisoft franchises, but I really liked Rayman 2 and 3.

Well, those are at least still playable on modern systems, so better than nothing.

Yeah I recently picked all three + Origins up on GOG, and 2 is especially nice since it's become part of their preservation program so it just works out of the box now, but console players don't really have anything anymore though. I believe Xbox has backwards compatibility with Rayman 3 HD from XBLA still but that is it, and while I've not played that version, I've heard it's pretty bad. Nothing for 1 and 2, though, which are like the best games in the series lol it's insane

Digital Eclipse is doing the first game.

#

It’d be cool to see Nightdive manage the remasters of the 2nd and the 3rd game.

#

Specially the 3rd game, I think there’s a lot of room for improvements there.
