Mercenaries 3: No Limits (Cancelled)
This would be great, but I want remasters of the first two first.
Yeah but it all depends on no of upvotes they get
Most suggestions here would be Buried because of extreme nichness
It also depends on licensing and publisher willingness and other factors
Historically Night Dive has been going on the desires of staff and reaching out to publishers to make connections. The request forum has been useful for determining which efforts to prioritize, but some games like Killing Time only had 16 votes.
As the internal list of desired games begins to dwindle due to accomplishing them or determining they cannot happen, I would imagine these suggestions will become more relevant for determining future efforts, but keep in mind those efforts take years to turn into games to purchase.
I see
If there's a game that just won't happen, will we be notified in the thread so it can be archived?
It's more of a never say never situation, as a change in leadership is often what's needed, like NOLF or console Blood Fresh Supply.
Fair enough. I remember that NOLF C&D like it was yesterday.
Luckily for Mercenaries, Nightdive has a relationship with Disney, and I believe the LucasArts collection (minus the Tim Schafer parts) should have gone there
for those unaware of just how much a leadership change can make or break the chances of a rerelease, you can find a recent example with Sega's Judgement games
they casted an actor who was signed to a talent agency who put some pretty insane restrictions on how his likeness could be used which included personal computers
it literally took the head of that agency dying before things shook loose enough to get the games ported to PCs
Yeah I know how effective it can be. Harmony gold sued transformers and other mecha properties for using stuff from macross and now they are collaborating with them
Yes please
