Would love to see Outbreak be brought back. You would think with the failures of Resistance and Re:Verse, Capcom would get the message and bring Outbreak back. After all, I thought they listen to their fans instead of going after mods claiming that they're cheats.

a modern remake or successor to Outbreak would be more than what they're willing to do

#

like we nearly got a live service RE7 but thankfully the team pushed back on that, I wouldn't be surprised if Resistance and REVerse were deliberately phoned in so the team could use their failures to tell the ones pushing for that to back off and let them cook already

I mean, the only reason why they pushed Resistance on us in the first place was because they needed to justify the full price for the RE3 remake as the content and expectations of that were extremely disappointing. They should've just delayed RE3's release for another year or two to add more content to it and not outsource their work to someone else. For that remake to come out a year after RE2 remake seemed way too soon. It's never a good thing to develop games back to back. They should've learned from Back to the Future 3 and Matrix Revolutions.

hey now don't be lumping in BTTF3 with the Matrix sequels

I'm just saying. Not always a good idea to create two films back to back.

Spreading Resident Evil Outbreak propaganda
More people should play it

#

(play it online, ofc, on the fan servers, as the singleplayer mode is not how it was intended to be played)

Yep, but I doubt that CAPCOM will ever remaster and re-release those games, since for them those are failed projects. Unless if some 3rd party studio might license the rights to remaster those games....

#

And besides, there are also great titles like God Hand, Viewtifull Joe 1-2, Maximo, Lost Planet 1-2, Sengoku Basara 3-4 and EX Troopers that desperetly need a remaster as well.

I think a remaster of Outbreak 1 and 2 combined into one title with modern co op optimization for online play would actually do really well

#

Make it easier for multiple players to hop between the available characters, voice chat

#

Lots of people i know praise the games and their story, they just said it felt clunky to play especially online at the time

well that sucks since re9 has some ties to those games

#

and i'm guessing survivor and dead aim are out of the question?

I think alot of capcoms stuff will have to wait for a commerical ps2 emulator to be done
