It will also encourage for some actual traversal updates like jeeps and boats, with somebody always driving, one shooting and one making sure the vehicle stays up. Then it can also benefit against packs / herds of animals, as it’s easier to keep track on the surrounding and also make sure to get more targets in a faster time

TheHunter Primal got abandoned by the developers by alot of reasons, one of them is that It was a experimental spin off from the Hunter series, never was intended to have a long-term life span, It was created using the Hunter classic engine which by the devs perspective was Very limited, and It also didnt have any kind of mod support so There was no way the community could expand on It, also didnt have a stabilish big community unlike its older and New brothers, comparing to carnivores I guess you could say It has some similarities but Also are Very different scenarios, carnivores has a big active community and can expand on the engine via modding.
Initial release of the multiplayer feature could be quite bare bones and buggy, which I could see some people being turn off, but as time passes It could be improved on it and become a more polish experience

debatable. for full new content sure we go all out, but there's still some conflict on doing anything related to spicing up the vanilla content (despite doing 2/3s of that already)

but see here's the thing. especially given the mindset of most of remasters. is that it's usually for games that have been able to have at least a solid form of success. cityscape by every metric is a failure and there really is no reason to even consider remastering it because it would remain a failure, which is very apparent considering no one in the community really wants to touch it unless their morbid curiosity overcomes them.
doom 1+2 can get away with it because doom was already solid and has been for decades. but cityscape fumbles throughout and the only way of saving it is by completely redoing it.
and if we're putting opinions in, i have played cityscape and while i think it had something of potential, but it is objectively bad in so many ways that i can't even consider myself playing it again unless it has undergone a complete remake.

trespasser to some degree has a solid foundation, it's only issue was being quirky with its physics gimmick which is a big charm to it.
cityscape on the otherhand is plagued with bad weapon damage + needlessly spongey enemies, implied systems that don't even work or aren't even utilized at all (like stealth), weird level loading (2-3 levels using an entire loaded map but for some reason are completely different missions in a row requiring whole new loads despite using only a fraction of the active map), and generally how blatantly rushed the whole thing feels.
like boy let me tell you about coelophysis, those tiny feckers have way too much health for being swarm type enemies
