Okay here’s a personal sort of Wishlist in terms of what I want to see out of a remaster or what I think night dive should/ could do. Not saying I’m expecting this btw any form of remaster is welcomed. Also the list is organised from most preferred to least:

1. modding is necessary and is the most requested feature, so I think if the inclusion of an ae2 or c3dit like set of tools would be much appreciated. As I said before if it’s only just a remaster of one of the games (preferably c2), then it should at least come with the tools the community would use.

2. MEE features would be welcomed, but I think only the features oil has released so far should be added. Most of the planned features left for MEE can be left out of the game without much consequence, but the following definitely should be added or priority if MEE gets considered in development:
   -herding/spawning ai
   -gun dynamics/ projectiles
   -aquatic ai
   -flying ai (oli please release this soon so my point stands plsss)

3. Mostly aesthetic touch ups to the models. As cactus said if guns and maps have been open to touch ups in the past, so can many other assets. But I prefer if that these happen, it would be preferably newer animations and cleaned up meshes/uvs.

4. purely aesthetic, but weather such as rain, snow, dust storms or fog id like to see. Yet again purely aesthetic choice.

It's likely that there's a fair few games in production still and more IP's they're currently chasing, depending on which work out and fall through we'll get Carnivores sooner or later.

Should be noted nothing is set in stone and the rights holders could still decide to be abject dicks and just tell ND to piss off.

But honestly?

I'm certain that our emphasis on mods has sent the message loud and clear enough. The more time goes on, the more features and possibilities the modding community gets out of MEE and other projects, and thus the further the scope of a remaster project can get.

Worst case scenario Nightdive's outreach scares Tatem into releasing the Steam port of Dinosaur Hunter in a rushed and unfinished manner.
