an underrated game to be honest! I played through it a bunch of times as a kid, and while it's not going to win any prizes for originality (it was very much a homage to the mindless action-filled FPS games of the 90s during a time when most games were trying to move on from that), it played well and featured some great art design choices!
It's definitely not perfect; like many of the 90s FPS games it's paying homage to, some of its level designs can be rather confusing and unnecessarily maze-like and repetitive. It also has literally nothing to do with KISS besides the player characters gaining powerups that made them resemble the members of the band as they progressed (that, and the title of course, lol).
That being said; I'd love to see it get a second chance. I think people who are really into the whole boomer shooter subgenre are definitely gonna enjoy this one regardless of its flaws.

Good lord this game needs to be remastered desperately. This is by far the most broken Lithtech game I've ever played, and that is truly saying something. It's a cool game but it really barely functions
Unfortunately that's not very likely to happen at all. This thing is tangled up in all sorts of licensing hell.
I really might just play the Dreamcast version emulated instead of the PC version lmao my goodness

Well I have the PC version working well now. I mean, as well as you can have a Lithtech game working I suppose. But my God a Nightdive remaster of this game would be so peak

the spawners are ass. but this game is an interesting bit of history for the developers, and its fun to play. but yes. the spawners gotta go.

I actually haven't really had an issue with the spawners so far. I thought they were kinda neat. Playing on Cold Sweat by the way so idk how it's like on Nightmare but it's not been bad for me.
An option or gameplay modifier would be good for those who don't like them, though, cause I can easily see how they'd be annoying.
