Honestly, depending on the tarot cards, the gameplay can change significantly.
There are often times when we have a lot of gold, but we can’t get anything appropriate.
In other roguelike games, there is often a system that allows we to reroll using gold.
Perhaps implementing the same system in this game might make the game more interesting.

Sun* cards build up to be fierce….they work in combinations more than some others.
Like, combine the chaining on, chance to proc on all hits, with a couple of the first strike damage bonus ones…it can build up in very synergistic ways.
The reroll idea is nice though.
If not for money, it could be its own card (option to reroll 1/level or something)

Yes, Sun* cards will be powerful when we have the set cards, but usually it’s very hard and we have to lose other cards.
So, depending on luck, the strength can change drastically,
and like in sun run, maybe we realize that it’s impossible with this card set after clearing level 20+, and it becomes a bad game experience that happens often.
If there is a reroll,
I think the experience will be better to some extent, even if it costs a lot of money.

I feel like you're describing a basic part of roguelikes. Each run the rng impacts the run significantly. You aren't supposed to have anywhere close to the same power every run, and some rng requires strat adjustments.
