After the first boss, on Quest 2, I saw Jude had a card I wanted to buy but didn't have enough money.
I walked to the pond to throw a bunch of pistol ammo and a single cigar in to grab some cash.
Returned to Jude... but somehow that item was now gone from the list.

Yeah happened to me too. And when I buy some stuff from him it reappears.

Jude is a sly merchant sometimes. He only shows the good stuff when I buy his other garbage, forcing me to spend more.
He did that with a gold muzzle break before.
