(Playing on PCVR, via Air Link + Meta Quest Pro, next-patch branch.)

Generally looking to reduce artificial downtimes in the game. It can get tedious to have to open every door if I'm trying to speed through the first few stages, and these things do add up over time. I propose a setting to automatically open the door on area clear, and also to have the first door always open.

Might not be lore-friendly, but I'd appreciate the time save.

Also, I'd like to see faster prayer time for collecting souls, etc -- same principle: reduce artificial downtime waiting for animations to complete.

Sortof feel the same way about masses of jars, etc. first few runs it feels exciting to find caches, but after a while it gets tedious. Like, can’t I open and collect from these 8 containers all at once?

Agreed -- some ideas for that:

  • Let us smash pots with our bare hands, without having to pick them up. Means I can crouch and slap and destroy 5 pots with a single hand swipe, while simultaneously collecting everything.
  • Automatic looting by walking near/on top of the cache
  • Spawn less containers, but with more loot (could be controlled via setting)
  • Allow collection of souls by walking onto them
  • On area clear, automatically collect all enemy souls
  • On area clear, automatically collect all caches that have been previously spotted
  • Mode/setting when caches/looting is disabled all together, and you automatically get some rewards at the end of the area (maybe one single chest containing multiple things that can only be unlocked on area clear)
