Hey i got a question for quest 3 users so i just got my quest 3 just today and logged on vrc and my friends say my mic sounds very muffled and ik another friend of mine on vrc has a quest 3 and his mic sounds way better than mine so what gives with my mic?

You might need to take off the face guard thing and check cuz usually it’s where the nose is

The mic is where your nose is I think

check the mic pinholes, on either side of the nose hole. additionally, there is/was a known issue with Q3 mic quality. go into sound settings and toggle the mic on and off to reset it, and you can also attempt a factory reset and ensure all firmware is properly installed.

Why aren't videoplayers working on quest

I think there is a problem with my mobile application. Today while I was sending a photo to my friend on Instagram, I suddenly noticed something. The VR photos I took about 1 or 2 months ago were suddenly uploaded to my phone and were appearing in front of my normal photos. I tried to remove them from the gallery, but those photos do not appear in the gallery. They only appear in the gallery pool that is opened when you send a story on Instagram or send a photo to someone as a message. I tried to go to the mobile application and delete them, but I cannot access the page where my profile is. In the mobile application, there are 3 places at the bottom. There is a feed sign on the left and a human sign in the middle. There are search tabs on the right. When I click on the tab in the middle, it says this profile can t be accessed. Am I banned? I wonder if I was banned. When I went to the meta's website from the computer and checked my account, I could not see a problem. Please help. How do I delete the photos I took from my VR?

Ok, I solved it. Since Instagram is meta, they are automatically connected to each other because my meta account's gmail is the same as Instagram's, so the photos saved in meta's cloud are visible. I went into the settings and solved it.

hey ik this isn't really my conversation but put yourself out there and talk to people. If you won't text people first and you publicly show people that you are extremely self-depricating, that is really off-putting to people and can create a self-fullfiling prophecy. Not a solution but something that may help is setting a dead zone for your thumbsticks

The point is to get at the spring underneath the thumbstick and clean it in a non-destructive way. Just be careful with the alcohol. All the dust and dead skin cell buildup is the main culprit the majority of the time.

Also meta support kinda sucks (assume you have a meta headset) but if you send them a video of your stick drift they might send you a replacement. Just make sure to tell them you've changed the batteries, tried using dead zone, etc. To show both in the same video your best option may be casting to a monitor (pc or tv) and then having someone record you while in vr as well as the monitor so they can see your controller and what you're seeing in vr to probe the stick drift

You'll definitely want a replacement since the controllers are super expensive 😬

That's your problem, you're looking at it too narrowly. There is a Virtual Reality discord sever with around 60k users. Just because something isn't in discoverable, doesn't mean it's not around. You have to actively choose to have your server show up in that search.

mocopi is worse slimes and fairly expensive for what they actually are (wasnt even built for full body use)
slimes are cheap and open source but buying official ones can take some time to finally get them (if you dont build them yourself)
haritoraX is their own thing separate from slimes but from what I could tell they had slightly worse tracking (could be entirely software side)

When you run PCVR, your headset becomes a viewing device, and all the power and running of your games come from your PC, not the headset. With that said, the Quest 3 is an upgrade over the 2 in virtually every way and worth getting over the 2 if you can manage it.

The reason you must manually turn them on is if you were to have all avatars on you would just crash

Ever since the update it keeps saying I’m using hand tracking, but I’m not it’s disabled and I can’t do anything or click. My menu. Only thing I can do is run and jump and unmute that’s it.

It's weird, but you have to rest your thumb on the part of the controller that's flat, no buttons, then tap the top trigger to click on things

Yes having same issue. Disabling tracking forwarding in virtual desktop fixes it, but then you can't use eye and face tracking. If you disable it, relaunch VR chat, then turn off the "force tracking exclusive mode", turn it back on, then relaunch VR chat, it works mostly.. It still appears that hand tracking is "enabled" (you see the skeleton) but you can at least interact with the UI and stuff.

The Hand tracking is always on with the new update, i think there is a method to go back with the controllers or you just need to wait for a fix like everyone :')
You can also try the play with the fingers, it's possible and i did it it's special
Select in the menu like you're selecting something on your Quest with hand tracking

You can find the different controls in the menu under Settings > Controllers and Hand Tracking

It's a little bit hard to go to the menu with the tracking bcs when you do the movement, the SteamVR menu is opening in the same time as the one from VRC

I log into VR chat on PCVR through my quest, three headset and when it logs into my world, I see it briefly, and then a red screen forms across the screen of my headset, and then will turn blue and then back to red. This only happens logging into PC. The quest side is fine. Factory reset headset reload all apps I have uninstalled steam reinstalled steam I have uninstalled virtual desktop and reinstalled virtual desktop and still the same thing. I tried it three different ways on a couple different computers in the exact same thing happens so right now the only way I can play if I go in as quest because I cannot go in as a PC user I need some help because we’ve tried everything

bringing the game to android, mobile is only gonna bring more restrictions for avatar creators

lets assume youre on a quest 2, 6gb of ram, very nice. your quest will naturally need 1gb of ram to stay afloat (generous estimate), you load up vrchat for 1gb of ram (generous estimate), and a world for 2gb of ram. this leaves you with an awesome 2gb best case scenario to fill your game up with avatars. how many? 27 in best case scenario (assuming avatars are using using 40mb of ram and 35mb of vram)

best case scenario, who knows how much more vrchat or the world may want, or how much more your quest will take for background tasks
