Standalone is such a significant corner of the player base that I'd find it hard to believe it ever being dropped. Pico 4 is only supported via Virtual Desktop and PCVR as of now, I believe.

Avatar audio was never supposed to be on quest so it was removed yes. The only reason that the avatar audio slider was there for quest is from what I know is that the UI (menu) was pretty much just copied from Pc just was never supposed to be there though

Odd, you may still want to increase your safety settings while in public though. The crashing is caused by your Quest running out of VRAM

Or RAM in general. Only about 4gb of it is dedicated to VRChat and with a lobby of people constantly changing avatars, it runs out fast

Especially if your content cache is full

Also possible that the world itself is causing the crashing, then you'll want to be quick and click the go to default home button that exists during load.

Other than that, assuming you haven't completely filled your Quest's storage, then a factory reset is the only thing that usually helps Quest issues.

So far I tried:
-factory reset of the headset
-updating IOS verion to 15.7.5
-making sure the location services are allowing precise location
-clearing Bluetooth cache
-Google TV instead of smartphone
-emulator on PC (Virtualbox+Android-x86)

-also tried my friend's phone but he forgot an Apple ID password so the app couldn't download. the recovery takes around 5 days to confirm the identity. I didn't wanna bother him figuring it out together just in case
-tried using an old IPad but it needs an update which it won't be able to handle normally and won't install any apps because of that.

Have yet to try:
-use another different device but a normal working one, but need to wait a week or two for a family member to come

Lmao I'm actually starting to be surprised more by the fact that these methods don't work rather than by the fact that I got VR yesterday that I wanted for so long

I feel like if I'll continue thinking how to fix this everyday then I'll become a technician

You've basically only got two options then without a PC, IMU trackers and those phone apps.

The phone apps are not that good at all, the best (to my knowledge) being PicoQuest on Iphone (I think there was an open source alternative, but sideloading stuff to an Iphone is just needlessly hard). You can find videos about it on youtube if you want to see tracking quality.

IMU tracker wise, the two options you have are SlimeVR and Sony Mocopi.
Mocopi doesn't track great at all.
If you order SlimeVR now you'll be in the August batch.

Has anyone had a recurring problem on the quest 2, where, after a certain period of time, the audio will cut out and no one can hear you? It only happens when playing vrchat and I have yet to find a way to fix it. I honestly just think it’s something with the hardware but idk.

Now I wanna change my PC from 2.4GHz to 5GHz to connect Quest 2 to PC via Airlink

To change it to 5GHz, my PC has to have protocols 802.11a and 802.11ac, which it does.
I also went to Device manager -> chose the right network adapters and went to properties - advanced -> and changed preferred band from 2.4GHz to 5GHz

Then I rebooted my PC
That should've worked but when going in current connected WIFI's properties, it says that the network band is 2.4GHz and the protocol is 802.11n

My router supports 5GHz and has devices with this type of frequency connected to it

But for my PC it says that the connection type is 2.4GHz
