Try getting one of those keyboard cleaners and spraying it into the sides of the joystick, I tried that with my quest 1 a while back and if I remember correctly it worked a bit

All I know is you got to clean the inside of your controller and if that doesn’t help your controller is just busted

Likewise if you use a playspace mover to - for example sake - hover above the walls in freeze tag you are by definition hacking freezetag.

If you use android your photo gallary is part of the camera. But it bypasses your key lock if you know the method of getting to it. By your definition its not hacking but all your personal info belongs to anyone who lifts your phone. Have they not hacked your personal info in this example?

Empathize with you as a hybrid user but at the end of the day its VR Chats system they can make the rules they wanna make. Granted there’s a multibillion dollar company currently building and advertising an obvious competitor to vrchat and it would behoove vrchat to take notice of that fact and be less stringent on user customization and accessibility but thats something the two of them (vrchat and meta) will have to figure out. We just wait and use what we have til then

Probably a bug from the fact that avatar audio isn't supposed to be on Quest avatars.
A bug that obviously won't be fixed.

Would recommend buying it then. Avatars are a lot of work to create when they’re made from scratch. Be wary, there are avatar-edit artists that charge as much as avatar-creators. More oft than not, they mean well and just aren’t aware of how copyright works…

In the case of mint, they put a shitton of work into building that avatar, they deserve to be compensated. Not trying to guilt you into oblivion but please from now on consider this when using an avatar that may not be intended to be public.

Yes. Shaders are the trickest part (at least for neko) cuz quest limitations but its very very doable. As long as you dont mind sacrificing some of the finer elements which make pcvr so good

it's fine! pcvr is like the vive headset and stuff even though it's more pricey it's a better vr experience and you don't have to worry about your vr headset dying during a game session

So because of how weak the hardware in the Quest is compared to gaming PC, the content between Quest VRChat and PC VRChat is usually quite different visually.

I like to think of it like they exist half a dimension out of sync with each other, a PC and Quest player can still talk and exist in the same world, but what they see can be drastically different.

And if you want to play for long periods of time just get a battery bank or have your Quest plugged into a wall outlet with a long cable, then it will last long enough for the vast majority of people.

I think you may be misunderstanding me, Quest and PC players can play with each other, the only times they cannot is when the world is only compatible with one of the platforms, good PC-only worlds are usually only PC-Only because the worlds simply are too intense for the Quest. A Quest-only world is usually only made by someone trying to piss off PC players.

When you connect your Quest to your PC you can ONLY see PC content.
When you run VRChat on your Quest, without a PC, you can ONLY see Quest content.
There isn't any arbitrary reason for this, it is about performance and the content being compiled for the respective platform.

I did it a few days ago and it worked relatively straight forward

Ey can someone help me? i bought a KIWI cable a month or more ago, one of the most purchased from amazon, and today it was perfect, but now the screen freezes after a short time, but vrchat and steamvr are still working, I have no more I have no choice but to exit oculus link,,, and get back in, but after a while the same thing happens, the screen freezes and I have to exit, I've tried restarting the pc, quest, ocuclus home, and port changes on the computer's pc (which I think is what is giving me problems) also if someone passed it and can help me, I would appreciate it, thanks.

Hey, hope I’m not bothering you, it turns out the avatar I wanted ported to the quest is actually public, I thought I made it private but I guess not. Would there be any way to get the avatar into unity from vrchat or are the unity files the only option? Sorry if this is a stupid question
