Welcome to the official VRChat Discord server!

Please read these rules. By joining the VRChat Discord and reading/chatting in any channel, you agree to the following:

Golden Rule: Above all else, be kind. Empathize, communicate, and understand. Never harass or belittle anyone. Remember, there's a human on the other side of the screen.

  1. Don't violate the Discord Terms of Service! This includes (but is not limited to) evading bans and being under 13 years old.
  2. Hate speech of any kind, harassment, and/or abuse is not tolerated. These actions and/or joking about these actions will result in immediate moderation.
  3. "NSFW" content is prohibited in this server. This includes sexual content, violent content, that kind of thing. If you have to ask, it is probably NSFW.
  4. This isn't the place for controversial subjects (politics, religion), so please take it elsewhere.
  5. If you want to report someone in VRChat, use #moderation-reports. Don't call them out here. Also, don't post your ban message here asking for help. Check #moderation-reports for the appeal form.
    a. If you wish to report someone for poor behavior in this Discord, please make a ticket in #discord-tickets.
  6. Don't share personal info here-- either your own or info belonging to others.
  7. Don't spam! This could be excessive, repetitive messaging of your own or others' messages, in the same or across multiple channels, soliciting server members via DM, or "protesting" via spamming a message. This also includes mass-pinging. Don't do that, VRCat will ban you. vrcCatThink
  8. Don't impersonate or speak for VRChat Team members, and don't spread deliberately misleading, falsified, or incorrect information.
  9. No discussion of/links to hacks, modifications, rips, or piracy for VRChat or any other game.
  10. Don't advertise or solicit in this Discord! This includes solicitations like polls, surveys, research, petitions, calls to action, chain posts, advertising for games, applications, or other products, or posting GoFundMe links or similar services.
  11. Please don't ping the VRChat Team. They're usually really busy, and probably won't answer unless you're in an active conversation with them.
  12. Don't ping Chat Mods for non-issues. They're here to keep this Discord safe, give them some respect!
  13. We have tons of channels. Use them! Keep discussion relevant to the channel topic or name.
