if you use it split in two, you'd have to position it weirdly to have one of the screens as your center screen, and the other one on the side like you can do with 2 individual monitors

Also, i think a thin boarder is not even bad for multi monitor use, you put on different thigns anyway, and it is a nice separation

borders suck if you set 3 monitors up as a single display to play ultra wide, but if you just play on the center one, borders are good so the game doesn't just randomly cut off

I still have pretty old monitors but I have speakers between my monitors so the borders don't really make make it that bad
