If u want it to get prepared to the job i would say its kinda waste of time, most of the creative jobs in game industry don't required any degree, but required job experience, so better idea for me will be going on some course getting maybe some certificate and just jump into job or maybe some

if you're making a game make the anticheat serverside, people cannot bypass serverside checks, clientside can be bypassed and modified.

The hard part would likely be setting up the serverside qwp

I don't know anything about game development, the most I've done is make a community level for Super VR Ball.

You could probably have it to where a client-server sync happens so whatever the client should do next is checked, so a modified client is much harder to make.

Thats what most minecraft server anticheats do.

there's also just kernel anticheat which reads your system for potential cheats and then doesn't let you play 😂
that's the most annoying kind because you have to install it

And it makes it so where a modded client doesn't ban you but does nothing.

If you make a modified client reject playing the game the mod-maker will just keep tinkering around until something works, tricking the mod-makers into thinking you actually made the exploit really does the job.

E.g. they see themselves flying around ingame but actually they're not moving.

so what happens is that the game switches from online to singleplayer, all the usernames are the same, but the characters switch to AI so everything seems normal.

Then the next match happens online, switches again to singleplayer, etc.

Of course.

Also you could just make a cheater blacklist so all the cheaters play against eachother, that's the easiest and most brutal solution.

You just need a few serverside checks so after enough red flags (e.g. speed hacking, aim botting firing too fast) they'll be put on the naughty list and will only be able to compete against other hackers.

Thats what titanfall did, thats what SAS 4 did, and many others.

Its very effective in dissuading exploiting.
